The bar charts compare the number of bee colonies and the
amount of honey produced in five different american states, namely North
Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin in 2006.
As is presented by first chart, in the year 2006, North Dakota
had 350,000 bee colonies, the biggest number among the american states compared
in the bar chart, followed by South Dakota which possesed approximately 225,000 bee
colonies. On the other hand, the total of bee colonies that lived in Montana
was around 140, a little bit higher than Minnesota and respectively twice as
many as Wisconsin.
However, it could be observed by looking at the second diagram
that the pattern in the first chart was mirrored in terms of honey production. In
detail, North Dakota were the biggest honey producer which 26 million pounds
honey were produced while in marked contrast, the lowest honey producer was
attributed to Winconsin which merely 6 million pounds honey was made in 2006. In addition, the figures for South Dakota, Montana, and Minnesota were a quite similar.
